About

Climbing gets exponentially more challenging as you add more people to your team.

This program tackles the challenges of managing 3+ person rope teams. We'll cover caterpillar, parallel and rope end climbing movement techniques. You'll learn to transition between each technique and use sound decision making to choose the proper technique for any given situation. Belay station and rope management become even more important in this environment, and we'll show you how to run your belays like a professional. You'll also learn how to effect a rescue of an injured partner while managing two ropes.

About

Mountainous terrain, means mountainous consequences and mountainous rewards.

This program is designed for those venturing deeper into the mountain environment. This environment requires quick and efficient movement through 3rd, 4th and 5th class terrain. The mountains require transitions between technical climbing with ropes, sketchy slab crossings, 4th class scrambling over exposed edges, technical down climbing, and often complicated rappels. This program will introduce you to the techniques that professionals use to mitigate the risks and increase the margin of safety in these unforgiving environments.
